Welcome To the Beulah Website!
This website is designed to tell you all about Beulah Evangelical Church, a small and friendly group of Christians meeting in the seaside village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight and reaching out to the surrounding villages of Nettlestone and St Helens as well as the nearby town of Ryde.  Whether you are a regular member of the church, someone surfing around for Isle of Wight Churches to visit on holiday, or interested in checking out the claims of the Christian faith, we hope you find the site interesting and informative.

Discipleship Explored is coming to Beulah on 24th April. It's an 8 week journey into the book of Philippians, perfect for those who have completed a Christianity Explored course and would like to discover more about what it means to be a follower of the Lord Jesus.  It's also a great course for more established Christians who just want a "refresher". If you'd like to join the next course, then contact us here, get more info here, or just turn up on the day (Thursday 24th April 10.30am at the church.).

Starts 21st May - The new Growth Group series -Living to please God - When a small group of first-century pagans first believed in Jesus Christ, they changed so dramatically that soon others across the Roman world were imitating their faith, hope and love.  Little did they know, that theirs was a transformation that would change lives, cultures and destinies far beyond first century Macedonia.

In the next series of studies in our mid-week Growth Group we will be looking at the New Testament letter of 1 Thessalonians, where the apostle Paul records his delight at the vibrant Christian lives these transformed pagans are living, as he writes a warm encouraging letter to them, with advice and help to keep going.

As we read the words of this letter for ourselves, we can discover how WE TOO can transform our ordinary lives, into lives of vibrant faith, overflowing love and sensational hope.  Why not join us, as we unlock these life changing truths?  Go here to find out where and when.

Beulah? - is that a real word?
Yes it really is! it comes from Isaiah 62:4 in the Bible and it means married.  It reminds us that God delights in his people like a bridegroom delights in his bride.  It's great to know that someone delights in you isn't it? Well Christians know that the person who delights in us the most is the one and only God. If you would like to know more about what it means to be a Christian, then why not check out the Two Ways to Live presentation on this page.
